There are some people in life who go through a lot and always seem to have a story, things are never right in their world. Do you wonder why can't they get it together? Who do you see?
To the outsider looking in, this person will never get 'it' together! The person looking in has probably decided that they will never be in this position, ever!
Is it right for us to judge? We don't know what goes on in an individual's life, unless we live with them. We don't know how much of a struggle just waking up might be for this person. Do you think they deserve the benefit of our doubt as to who they are and why things are that way for them? Or do you sit and judge and typecast this person into a category you already have all made up, just because?
Not everyone is lucky enough to 'know where they are going'. Or to already have a map of the things they will do to get to where they want to go. Not everyone is lucky enough to have someone to turn to when they need guidance, or a little push towards a purpose in life. This is where you, as a friend comes in, you will not judge; you will not have expectations and neither will you abandon a friend in need, unless you have 'walked a mile in their shoe' and know first hand what is really going on. Unless continuing this friendship is a bad thing for you personally, i.e., a toxic relationship which continues to bring you down, you will be the support this friends needs, if they should reach out to you.
