This past week we manage to get out there and ran two times, TWO times! We're beating ourselves up a little because this is really interfering with our fitness plans. If we don't get to it more than that, it takes a lot longer to get to our goals!
I reminded my partner that you know what? At least we're doing it! We're doing what not too many people like to do. Running is hard, really HARD, at least for me! But I'm doing it, and that's half the battle! Sure there are other forms of exercise, I've done most of them, I am doing most of them, most of the time! But I find that running really gives me the overall toning that I need, it's simpler and less harder to keep up. So I'll keep on doing it!
I look at my body what it is now, from what it was a year ago. Then, I was only walking and doing aerobic exercises every other day when time permits. My body is much more tone and I've had a great weight loss! I won't quit running, and I won't quit working out any other way either. As my life permits, I will continue to do what I do, focus on getting this body of mine more toned and get rid of the fat that has built up over time. Isn't it scary to think that you had all this 'baggage' on your frame for so long without paying attention to it?! I look at my clothing now, how they fit, much, much looser, and think to myself, "wow, how did I walk around with all that fat on my body"?!
I'm not running out to go on a shopping spree right now, for now as long as my pants are not around my knees, or my ankles, I continue to wear them!lol! I say go ahead and do what you do, life is moving on, but be sure to make time for you!
