Oh that cup of soup!
Today I ended up at the doctor's office with my 9 year old who had an incident with a cup of soup! After preparing it in the microwave, which she has done many times over. This time I'm not sure what went wrong, perhaps she was too eager, unfocused? It fell out of her hand and spilled all over her shirt and in the process burned her tummy. In the process of cleaning up the soup and getting it off of her, she scrubbed the burn spot and took off the protective scabbing that occurred. The end result of our visit to her Pediatrician, she has 2nd degree burn! With lots of tender, loving, care (TLC) she will be OK. My poor baby.
Hurt Feelings
Has anyone ever made you feel really low? Lesser than who you think you are?
Back on the workout wagon!
I've re-dedicated myself to my workout. Yes, for the what seems like umpteenth time!lol! Listen man, working out is hard. Trying to get your body back in shape is hard! And especially when you're getting older and your limbs seem to belong to someone else, it is dang gone-it hard! (which reminds me to write that article about aging!) So yes, once again, I've re-dedicated myself to my workouts and getting this body of mine into the svelte and delectable shape I want it to be! Need I say more?

Especially if it is someone you thought you had a relationship with, yet whenever you tried to 'socialize', there always seem to be a wall or a door where you're not allowed in? Then when you learn what the true reason is for this behaviour it is a shock, enough to make you feel physically ill? Lies hurt, they do. No matter who you are, any misconceived perception of you can be very painful. Especially when you know the truth and the one who really does, continues to feed the misconceived perception because of their own inadequacies! Does it make sense to try and dispel what is thought about you? Is it really worth it? No, sometimes it's not. It is not worth it because there are just some people who think one way and you can't change that. It doesn't matter because supposedly the cards are usually stacked against you and it seemingly proves the other individuals justification of their perception. Nothing you try to do will affect their thinking. If they decide they will have absolutely nothing to do with you or yours, well, what's the point? It's a lesson learned dear reader, a painful one. It makes you angry enough to want to throttle someone, but then you realize, being angry is not worth it; dwelling on it is definitely not worth it; and so you move on! Life is too short for what I call 'crap like that'! If you allow it to, you can become a wound that would remain raw and festered. Again I ask, what is the point? C'est la vie!
