Pain, you have no idea of the pain that anyone else goes through wouldn't you agree dear readers? You have no idea of the problems that most people face on a daily basis. You don't know why some people fall into the lifestyles they do. You don't know what brought them to this place, that place that they are in. You don't know how many times they've turned to the folks who are supposed to help them. And yet, they receive no help. You don't know what kind of trouble this person has overcome, or tried to overcome. You don't know how hard that person has fought not to be in the position they are in. You don't know how many times they have come out ahead, only to fall right back into the despair they face. Day, after day, after day! After all, you really only know about your own self!
You don't know how many times that person has turned to someone they know, who knows them, who knows their situation to get the help they find. Only to end up owing or feeling betrayed, or feeling belittled, laughed at, scoffed at. You don't know how much courage it takes for someone to ask for the help they need. You don't know how hard it is for that someone to hear themselves, and the position they are in, or have been in, be labeled a scum, a thief, living off the system, while society works, they pay no taxes, they take drugs, they smoke cigarettes! So how come they drive a car? Why can't they get themselves a job, even at McDonald's, or get an education? Even if the car they have driven they've had for years, is running on it's last leg; they've tinkered, and tinkered, unable to afford the high cost mechanic; or they finally turned in that old jalopy to get a deal from someone or that place that will let them get a another car that they can afford to have! Or the minimum wage job they have is at the bottom of the food chain where they still get scoffed at, treated like shit, or told they should be grateful they have said job. or they have no chance of going further in the job they should be grateful they have. Or they got fired for whatever reason, or they got laid off because the company can't afford to pay them the minimum wage they do; yet the company can afford to keep the high-earning individual who gets a raise and another title to justify that raise; or hire another higher earning individual to take some made up position because that person could be the neighbor, or the friend's, friend. Or the education that they try to get they don't qualify to receive because they don't have the.. what's that fancy word? Pre-requisites to pursue or they may have to start from scratch because the other education they already received and just need a few more to have that piece of paper is not enough, and they have to start all over again. You don't know if that person keeps trying and trying and trying and keeps getting side-lined by the life they live or the people who continue to ignore the efforts they make.
You don't know why someone remain where they are in life when just trying to improve their lot takes so much effort, requires someone who will actually do their job and not just pass them off to the next person or who will not do their job thoroughly so the person can get the help they seek. Or perhaps, maybe the individual in that job has already helped themselves and their friends, and there is nothing left for those who really need it. So the corruption that these "agencies" receiving money to aid the ones who need it and don't really help but give the run around. while you sit in your lofty existence making assumptions having lattes and cocktails with like-minded friends who drive sparkling new cars going to the places you can afford that makes your life easy and thankful that you don't have to do what "they" have to do because "they" are a lazy bunch of people of minority background and whose families have "been on the system" so long, they take the easy road in their life of assumed addiction-chain-smoking-drug taking-a-bottle-of-40 drinkers that makes your living hell because you feel you work hard while they don't and they live on welfare collecting food stamps...and every other SIN that you can dump on their heads....? So many of us have to remember that not just me, but, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK!
