It is a new year and many of us uses this time to get back on track with our fitness programs and goals. What is it about the New Year that always does this to us? I think it is because we feel renewed. With this renewal of spirit, we feel a drive to make our lives better and change the things we have always wanted to change.
I do it too. I have been seriously on my fitness quest for the last three years. And even more if I count the times I wasn't that serious! As the years passes by however, and I get older, I realize how important it is for me to be healthy and fit. Because of pre-existing familial traits, I have to get my weight under control and be the best me ever!!!
Corny right? Yeah....but the truth nonetheless. My life can be hectic and pretty stressful, especially due to reasons I won't divulge at this moment. This is causing issues I have never had before. To nip this in the bud, I have got to continue my quest to be fit and healthier. Plus I love working out. Running and walking are a favorite part of my exercise routines.
I plan on doing other activities as well and will share it with you. I hope you will join me on my journey as I explore what I need to do to get to where I want to be. Even if you just want to keep yourself agile, and not for weight loss, maybe we can learn from each other. I will even Vlog about it at times!
I'm excited, are you? Did you make any fitness pledges this New Year? Have you started? Do you think you will stick to it? Leave me a comment below.
Also, check out the article below which I wrote some time ago. It's some observations I made, and there are some follow ups to be done with some questions I asked.
