Musical Obsession Series: Happy - Oscar-Nominated Song

I am so stoked that a song I featured in my Musical Obsession series a month ago, Happy by Pharrell Williams who has done a number of videos featuring this song which he wrote and sang in the animation movie Despicable Me 2;  received a Oscar Nomination this morning.  I was so happy to hear the good news, I tweeted about it:

I LOVE this song!  Why,well, if you read the first article I did linked above, because it does what the name says, it's a "happy" song, you dance, the words are oh so positive and all I wanna do is dance, sing-along and snap my fingers!!!!  If you didn't check it out yet, and I know of few of you did dear readers at my last posting, I hope you will check it out now.  There are so many versions to it on You Tube, I just love all of the videos in the series!  Let's face it, for me, Pharrell Williams can do no wrong!lol! Yes, I'm totally crushing on him.

Congratulations again Pharrell, though you won't read my blog, I wish you the best and hope that you do receive the Oscar, it will be well-deserved!
