Wii Fit Contagious

Since buying the Wii Fit last year our board hasn't gotten as much work out, until this year that is! If you have one, or have used it, you know just how smart that technology is! I was so surprised today when it asked me "So Mom how do you think Amanda is doing with her workout"?! Then it gave me several choices for an answer and I chose the appropriate one (she's doing so well btw) and then it said, "She sure is, all of her work out is paying off! You should share this information with her" Meaning I should tell Amanda how well I think she's doing! Then it took me through my Fitness checkup and I did some exercises! The Sound of Silence

Here is a question for you dear readers, "Is the pursuit of happiness synonymous with the pursuit of pleasure?" And in seeking these moments of happiness, how comfortable are you with moments of solitude, are you afraid of the silence? Do you go out of your way to seek moments of solitude? I know, that's quite a mouthful of questions right there, I didn't ask just one! What got me reflecting on this you might wonder? I'm currently lost in reading Listening Below the Noise by Anne D. LeClaire , she wrote about how she stumbled upon what has become a sacred practice of hers, being silent. That is being quite, away from her family, any electronic devices, radio or television and especially the telephone, for a day. In this silence she learned to listen to her inner self; she was able to write, and accomplish so much because of the clarity in her thinking, she found her life was so much better for it! Quitting

Addiction, as you may know dear readers, can be a horrible thing.. . or even a good thing if the addiction isn't harmful to you, or anyone else! When it comes to your health however, we should do everything we can to be that way; healthy. It is with this in mind that our oldest gave her dad electronics cigarettes for Father's Day. To some this might not be a wonderful gift, however, for us, it is one of the most meaningful gifts! So far he loves it and hopes this helps him on his road to quit smoking! After promising to do so for the past 30 years!!! Here's to your continued health sweetheart!!
