I'm not going to lie, this "One Week to a Better Sleep Blogger Challenge" has been very challenging! I had good intentions, great intentions, but when you have a family, life does intervene! As the saying goes, "Man makes plan, God laughs!" We do try to do our own thing, but we sometimes forget we always can't do it all on our own, even something as simple as a sleep challenge! And of course, I always, ALWAYS need God on my side!
It has been a very busy week for me and family. It's 3:13am and I am up!
I jumped up out of a deep sleep realizing that I didn't say good night to my kids before they slept, I knocked out before they did, and all the lights and television and computer were still on and the kitchen is a big mess! A mom's work is never done!
Our house has been hit by a wicked and yes, I did say a wicked-a very wicked Virus this week! So far, we've all had it, except for my son and grandson, thank heavens! However, they have been having other issues that I'm so glad they didn't get this Virus too! Poor hubby has had the worse of it! He's been in bed, in and out, on and off, for two days! You see what I'm talking about? My oldest has had dental surgery, my son did last week, we've had so much going on, this does not a peaceful-accommodating-sleep-challenge make! The fact that I was able to do any of the prep work for it and participate in any of the challenge and to write about Day Two, was AMAZING!lol!
I am however glad that I attempted to do this sleep challenge. It showed me that yes, I do need to get my beauty sleep, and yes, I will always put my family first, and yes, I will always be sleep challenged!
For now, I'm up and about, but will be turning in pretty soon, I want to eat but can't, because I have blood work to do in a few hours and I have am fasting! On and on we go!
Awwww sleep...........

Aw, you poor thing! All 3 of my children and I got hit by that ugly bug! It took us about a whole week to get better! And we're still healing from it! Love your blog! Love how you added God in it for I also am a believer but I just didn't know how to add God in there! Well, I've learned something new! lol..I'm hoping and praying that you will be successful with the rest of the sleep challenge! peace, blessings, and healing to you and your family!

Thanks Beverly! Oh my goodness that virus was such a nightmare for each of us. So glad your household got over it too! The good thing is my son and grandson didn't get it! I guess when it comes to God it just happens naturally. Treat it that way and it will flow for you. Thx for the good wishes and thank you for reading with me!
