Inspiration

Whenever you have a goal in mind, it is always good to find and bond with anyone or anything that will motivate and inspire you!  Motivation is good, inspiration is always great!

I love watching The Doctors on TV, one of those morning programs that comes on twice a day.  If I miss it in the morning, I try to catch up that night.  They had some inspiring and motivational inspiration on today.  And they also had the handsome and sexy Dr. Ian Smith on too!  The program today was all about weight loss, goal setting, and motivating others to get to their best health ever.

Oprah's show tonight (since I'm not around at 4pm to watch, glad I catch it at nights as well!) was also all about weight loss, setting goals and even better, how to look 20 years younger!  Bob Greene and others were on her show giving the talk and showing the 'how-tos' along with contestants who participated in the 20 years younger you program.

Basically they all talked about the same thing:  Goal setting, motivation, inspiration, taking care of yourself, and just doing it!  If you do not take action now, you'll continue to be unhealthy.  Our health is so important and it is so easy to just let you drift by the wayside while you take care of everyone and everything else, putting yourself last on the agenda of your life.   Too many of us do this, especially us women!  We are beginning to realize how important it is for us to be healthy so as to have a longer life and to be around for our families, who really need us.  Why is it that we feel so guilty doing that?  In today's world, we have to do it for ourselves, and secondly for our families!

I know how hard it is, dang-gone-it HARD closing your eyes to everything that goes on around you and doing what you know you need to do for yourself.   Getting rid of the things in our lives that stresses us out is never easy, but keeping them under control, as best as we can, and also, getting enough sleep will have us on that journey to wellness even faster than we think!

Getting into shape can be a pretty rough journey; however, when we see ourselves looking and feeling so much better than we did before, there's nothing more motivating than that!
