Operation Motivation - The 10 things you can do to make you Happy!

It doesn't take much to make me happy.  No, seriously, it doesn't!  There are times though when getting to that "happy place" can be very stressful, or at least, I can't get there due to the stress!!! Do you have the same problem?  Hmm, well, if you don't, lucky you!

For those of us who do, I found a list of the 10 things we can do to get to our happy space by being the happiest person we can be!  Let's take a look and see if what the ehow.com contributor suggests will work for us!


  • Being your own Boss.
    • A great idea.  But remember being your own boss comes with a lot of responsibilities. Do you think you're ready for this challenge?  I know I am!
  • Be true to yourself.
    • Stop lying to yourself.  Be totally honest about everything, do not sugar-coat it. You need brutal honesty to get you moving.
  • Making music a part of your life.
    • Listening to, and dancing to music, makes me so happy. I zone out and I'm transported somewhere else!  Afterwards, I'm on cloud 9, motivated and ready to face anything!
  • Taking your vitamins.
    • Eating the right foods, taking your vitamins supplements will help to keep you healthy & happy!
  • Do new things.
    • Challenge yourself to do one new thing each month.  Whether it is to take a new class, meet someone new, visit someplace you have never been to. Try a new recipe...just do it! 
  • Having a positive outlook and not dwelling on negative stuff!
    • I wrote about this yesterday. The way we think, what we believe, our mind-set, how positive we are, has a lot to do with how we feel!  Go to my article and read more!
  • Don't blame others for your mistakes.
    • It is not easy to admit when we make mistakes, or when we are wrong about something. Well, for some people, that is hard to do.  It is always good to start with honesty, that's what being true to yourself involves too!
  • Meet new people.
    • Well, you are not going to meet anyone new by not trying something new.  Or by just sitting at home in front of your computer/laptop/tabloid/iPad, etc!  Go on, put yourself out there!
  • Take a vacation.
    • One of the best things we can do for ourselves, is take time off. Take a break.  Take a vacation!  It rejuvenates your spirit and your soul! It doesn't have to be somewhere fancy.  Plan a trip to your neighborhood zoo, or places of interests on your next day off. In fact, take three days off work and make it work
  • Do something that scares the crap out of yourself!
    • It is scary just even thinking it. Putting yourself out there, the unknown, what we are not familiar with, that's scary to do!  ~oooooo~
