It's been a while since I posted my musical obsession series. It's not even as if I don't listen to music anymore, as if!!! I live for music. It gets me through my day. Lately I've been listening to rock, heavy metal rock. I'll share my thoughts on that genre at another write up.
Today I'm feeling nostalgic, I remember the days of my youth. I'm missing my parents a lot too, may they both continue to rest in peace. I felt like listening to some reggae music from my birth land, Jamaica, not just reggae, Old School Dancehall Reggae. Dancehall music is the "badboy" of reggae music, the lyrics can be pretty raunchy at times, however, it's all in good fun and a way of musical expression. This one is not really as bad though, there are some really X-rated lyrics in dancehall this isn't that. I did a search on You Tube and found this listing. I liked it and hope you will too.
Aren't you glad it is Friday? Me too!!!!! It's been a tremendously roller coaster day for me and I'm glad it's almost over. Here's to a great weekend my dear readers.
