Have you ever used Feng Shui?  I haven't practiced it, although it is something that I am interested in. I've read that it does work for those who uses it.  If, you my dear reader might be scratching your heads because you don't know; Feng Shui is (according to Wikipedia),
"a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with their surrounding environment".  It is a part of the Chinese Five Arts of Metaphysics and "classified as physiognomy".  When you practices Art of Feng Shui it can be in reference to architecture and building, looking at the "invisible forces" that bind the universe, earth, and humanity together also known as Qi.

Some people believe Feng Shui to be rational because it works for those who practice it.  However, others do view it with a lot of skepticism because they think it is filled with folklore and superstition.  No matter what the views and opinions are, the practice of Feng Shui is used to help people who are seeking balance in their lives.  They can do this by making changes to their environment, around their homes, offices, or business they own.  Often a professional who is versed in the Art of Feng Shui will assist the person who wants to obtain these changes.  There are also many self-help books and articles to help you if you choose to use them.

One such article was on lonny.com titled, "Do this now for Instant Feng Shui".  The premise is if you feel stuck and want to make changes for the better in your life, you can move 27 things, along with other quick changes.  Now you might wonder to yourself, "Move 27 things...?" I know, I did too.  As I read on, I learned what they suggest for us to do isn't complicated at all.  The number 9 is a favorable number in Feng Shui.  Thus you interpret it, 27 being a multiple of 9; 2+7=9, yes numerology is strongly factored in it too.  It is done in such a way that you can make changes with little effort.

Some changes such as:

You can use gold everywhere - it is a universal reflection of abundance.

If you have clutter under your bed, time to get rid of it - this enables the flow of good energy.

Lighting is important and using an upward facing light in the room you use the most will help to enhance the energy in your home. Plus it somehow will help you to have better posture!

If you burn beeswax candle, sage, or drop lavender in the corners of your rooms, will get rid of negative energy.

I had no idea about this one:  Adding a succulent plant such as jade in the bathroom - it allows the flow of prosperity and where you do place the plant is very important.

Use of color especially a rainbow of colors brings harmony.

Doesn't that all sound uncomplicated and easy as 1-2-3?  I'm on the hunt for an upward facing light for my bedroom and living room too.  Plus a jade plant. I've always liked that gemstone. It is time I own something jade.

What do you think?  If you have been thinking about making changes to your life, will you try Feng Shui?  You can begin by doing one thing at a time. I will too.
